St. petersburg is the federal subject in Russia which is also the city located in the most western part of Russia. It is also known as the gateway to Europe for Russia. The city of St.Petersburg is located at the heart of Neva River and the city lies near the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic sea. The city of St. petersburg has about 221 museums, more than 2000 libraries, 70 theatres, 110+ concert organizations, 62 cinema halls and 45 galleries. The city of St.petersburg is the host to about 100 festivals and competitions each year. It is also a great cultural centre for the Russian, asian and european culture.
